Barti·San Francisco·FullTime

Who We Are

Barti is a venture-backed startup on a mission to revolutionize eye care. We’re building groundbreaking, AI-powered software that transforms how practices document care, run their operations, and serve patients. Our goal is to craft exceptional user experiences that let eye care providers stay focused on delivering high-quality care.

We recently raised our Series A and are growing quickly as hundreds of practices adopt Barti to replace outdated legacy systems. It’s an exciting time to join as we expand into new parts of eye care and continue shaping the future of practice management.

Job Description

SDRs at Barti are the engine of our top-of-funnel growth. You’ll be on the front lines of our sales motion — reaching out to prospective eye care practices, sparking meaningful conversations, and connecting providers with technology that genuinely improves how they work. This is an ideal role for someone early in their career who is hungry to learn, comfortable on the phone, and excited to grow into a closing role. SDRs who perform well will have a clear path to advance to an AE role.

  • Qualify leads through discovery using active listening and curiosity.

  • Consistently hit KPIs of 50+ dials per day.

  • Learn and apply Barti’s sales playbook with coaching from senior reps and leadership.

  • Maintain accurate records of outreach activity and pipeline in our CRM.

  • Have open and honest communication with both our team and prospective customers.

  • Provide a best-in-class buying experience while delivering value at every touchpoint.

  • Represent Barti’s mission and products with enthusiasm and integrity.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 1+ year of experience in a selling or customer-facing environment, including internships.

  • Genuine interest in technology and how software solves real business problems.

  • Coachable, curious, and eager to improve — you take feedback well and apply it fast.

  • Strong communicator, both written and verbal.

  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.

  • A commitment to operating with integrity and aligning to company values.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a SaaS or software environment.

  • Familiarity with sales tools such as Salesforce or Gong.

  • Knowledge of or interest in the eye care or healthcare industry.

  • Ability to travel occasionally for industry events.

Perks and Benefits

  • Be part of a mission-driven, rapidly scaling company changing the future of eye care.

  • Work remotely from anywhere in the U.S.

  • Collaborate with a passionate, fun, and supportive team with mentorship baked in.

  • Competitive compensation — $40,000–$80,000 OTE.

  • Equity in a fast-growing startup.

  • Health, vision, and dental benefits.

  • PTO

  • Annual professional development stipend.

  • A high-impact role with a clear path to growth and advancement.
