About the Role

As a Drone System Validation Technician and Pilot, you are the backbone of our flight operations. You ensure that our fleet of autonomous drones is airworthy, updated, and ready for deployment at a moment's notice. You will manage the validation lab and support engineers during complex field campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Fleet Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on the drone fleet (soldering, mechanical assembly, part replacement).

• Flight Operations: Pilot drones during test campaigns and act as the safety operator.

• Logistics: Manage inventory of spare parts, batteries, and field equipment; organize transport for test campaigns.

• Test Execution: Execute standard test protocols (checklists) and report results to the engineering team.

• Lab Management: Keep the workshop organized, safe, and fully stocked.

Candidate Requirements

• Technical degree or relevant experience in electronics, mechanics, or RC modeling.

• Excellent manual dexterity: Soldering, wiring, and mechanical assembly.

• Organized and safety-conscious.

• Drone Piloting: Experience piloting multi-rotor or fixed-wing UAVs (certification is a massive plus).

• Strong interest for DIY

• A2 English level

• Willingness to travel for field testing.
