The Role

Title: Senior Commercial & Strategy Manager

Location: Gibraltar, Remote

We’re looking for a Senior Commercial & Strategy Manager to partner closely with our VP of Commercial and play a central role in shaping how Midnite grows.

This is a high-impact position sitting at the heart of the business, connecting performance across sportsbook, casino, product, and retention to help drive smarter, faster, and more commercially effective decision making.

You’ll own visibility across the metrics that matter most -analysing player behaviour, commercial performance, and lifecycle trends to uncover where value is being created, where opportunities exist, and what needs to improve. More importantly, you’ll help influence what happens next.

Alongside core business performance, you’ll work on some of Midnite’s most important growth initiatives, including new product features, promotional mechanics, loyalty and retention strategies, and market expansion opportunities.

You will:

  • Own reporting and analysis of player and revenue performance across sportsbook, casino, and cross-product journeys.
  • Monitor and evaluate retention, reactivation, cohort payback, LTV, and ARPU trends across different player segments and acquisition sources.
  • Analyse player behaviour across the full lifecycle, from acquisition and onboarding through to long-term engagement and retention.
  • Identify where value is being created or lost across the player journey and recommend opportunities for improvement.
  • Evaluate sportsbook and casino performance including staking behaviour, margin dynamics, game mix, session frequency, and promotional impact.
  • Assess the effectiveness of bonuses, promotions, rewards, loyalty mechanics, and engagement initiatives on both short-term activity and long-term player value.
  • Support and evaluate commercial and product initiatives including free-to-play experiences, loyalty frameworks, promotional campaigns, and new market launches.
  • Define success metrics and KPIs for commercial initiatives, track post-launch performance, and identify areas for optimisation.
  • Translate complex commercial and player data into clear, actionable recommendations that improve retention, engagement, and profitability.
  • Partner closely with Product, CRM, Marketing, Trading, Finance, and Data teams to help prioritise initiatives with the greatest commercial impact

The next Midniter:

  • Has previous experience within iGaming or betting.
  • Has 4+ years’ experience in commercial, analytics, strategy, or performance-focused roles.
  • Has a strong understanding of player economics and lifecycle metrics including retention, LTV, payback, and ARPU.
  • Is able to translate complex analysis into clear, actionable commercial insight.
  • Has strong hands-on experience using data and BI tools such as Omni, Looker, Tableau, or similar platforms.
  • Is comfortable working cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Trading, Finance, and Data teams.
  • Is structured, detail-oriented, and highly analytical; experience across sportsbook and casino, SQL knowledge, or familiarity with retention/lifecycle mechanics is advantageous.

While we complete the setup of our Gibraltar entity, the successful candidate would initially join us on a contractor basis. We currently expect this arrangement to remain in place until approximately October 2026. Once the entity is fully established, we intend to transition the role to a permanent employment contract, at which point the successful candidate will become eligible for employee benefits.
