This Role

Negotiators own the settlement and lien phase of every case. You'll work both sides of the recovery: negotiating bodily injury settlements with insurance carriers and reducing liens with subrogation vendors, healthcare plans, Medicare/Medicaid, and ERISA plans, so injured clients are made whole and attorneys can settle files quickly and effectively.

What You'll Do:

• Negotiate bodily injury settlements with insurance carriers and adjusters, pushing for the strongest outcome on every file

• Reduce and resolve medical liens

• Build settlement breakdowns that reconcile gross recovery against fees, costs, and liens

• Coordinate directly between carriers and subrogation companies, owning the back-and-forth

• Carry a high volume of files, deadlines, and SLAs at once and follow up relentlessly when the other side goes quiet
  

You Might Be a Fit if You:

• Have 2+ years in PI lien or settlement negotiation, BI adjusting, or paralegal work

• Have coordinated lien resolution directly with subrogation companies (Medicare/Medicaid, ERISA, and health-plan vendors)

• Bring a maniacal sense of urgency and extreme ownership by chasing the answer rather than waiting for it

• Are highly organized and can juggle dozens of competing deadlines and SLAs

• Are comfortable with AI tools and concepts
  

Compensation

$60,000 – $75,000 annual salary + equity
