This Role
Negotiators own the settlement and lien phase of every case. You'll work both sides of the recovery: negotiating bodily injury settlements with insurance carriers and reducing liens with subrogation vendors, healthcare plans, Medicare/Medicaid, and ERISA plans, so injured clients are made whole and attorneys can settle files quickly and effectively.
What You'll Do:
Negotiate bodily injury settlements with insurance carriers and adjusters, pushing for the strongest outcome on every file
Reduce and resolve medical liens
Build settlement breakdowns that reconcile gross recovery against fees, costs, and liens
Coordinate directly between carriers and subrogation companies, owning the back-and-forth
Carry a high volume of files, deadlines, and SLAs at once and follow up relentlessly when the other side goes quiet
You Might Be a Fit if You:
Have 2+ years in PI lien or settlement negotiation, BI adjusting, or paralegal work
Have coordinated lien resolution directly with subrogation companies (Medicare/Medicaid, ERISA, and health-plan vendors)
Bring a maniacal sense of urgency and extreme ownership by chasing the answer rather than waiting for it
Are highly organized and can juggle dozens of competing deadlines and SLAs
Are comfortable with AI tools and concepts
Compensation
$60,000 – $75,000 annual salary + equity
